Offline mode
The ocean has no signal. Your dive log doesn’t need one.
Log every dive on the liveaboard, the dhoni or the far side of the island. Everything syncs the moment you’re back online. And with Pro, a whole region rides along in your pocket.
Two ways offline
Log anywhere. Explore anywhere.
Offline logging is free for every diver. Pro adds whole regions you can explore with no connection.

Offline mode, answered.
Can I log dives without an internet connection?
Yes, and it’s free. Into the Blue saves every dive to your phone first, so you can log, edit and delete dives with no signal at all. When your phone is back online, they sync to your account by themselves.
Do I need to turn on offline mode?
No. Logging always works offline. You only need to download a region beforehand if you want its species, wreck stories and map without a connection, which is part of Pro.
What’s inside a downloaded region?
Every species found in the region, from common to rare, with species pages and photos; the stories of its wrecks with their photos; the region’s map, with detail around every dive site; and its dive sites and dive centers.
How much space does a region take?
It depends on the region, and the app shows the size before you download. The Northern and Central Red Sea, with 460 dive sites and 750+ species, takes about 128 MB.
Can I add photos to a dive while offline?
Photos and videos upload to your account, so add them when you’re back in range. Your logbook’s photos are still there to look at offline.
What happens to my regions if Pro ends?
Your downloaded regions stay on your phone for 3 days, so you have time to renew. After that they are removed, and you can download them again whenever you’re back on Pro. Logging dives offline stays free either way.
Your next dive is out of range.
Get Into the Blue and log it anyway.
