How it works
Pick your agency and level, add the card number and a photo. Then your insurance, your rental sizes and how many dives you have.
Answer the official diver medical questionnaire and sign on screen. If a doctor needs to sign, download their form and upload the signed page.
Tap Share profile, check what’s inside, and send the PDF by WhatsApp, email or however the dive center likes.
What’s inside
Every card you hold, from 29 agencies including PADI, SSI, CMAS, NAUI, SDI and BSAC, with level, card number and a photo of the card.
Provider, policy number, expiry date and the policy document. Turn on the reminder and the app tells you a week before it runs out.
The Diver Medical | Participant Questionnaire that PADI, SSI and other agencies use, word for word, signed in the app. Valid for 12 months.
Mask, BCD, wetsuit, fins, regulator and computer: what you bring and what you need to rent, in your size. DIN or yoke too.
The dives you logged in the app plus the ones from before, so the center sees your experience at a glance.
Profile, certifications, gear, insurance and the signed medical in one file, with your documents attached. Opens anywhere, no app needed.
Privacy
Health data is the most personal thing you carry. So the dive medical is never sent to our servers, or anyone else’s: it is saved only in the app’s storage on your phone.
Only on your phone
Never uploaded. We don’t have a copy.
Backed up to your account
When you’re signed in, so they’re waiting on a new phone.
Before the PDF is made, the app lists exactly which sections go in it. Cancel, and nothing leaves your phone.
Nothing is shared unless you share it. You choose the app and the person.
Removing your medical erases it from the phone. There is no server copy to clean up.
Changing phones? Share the PDF to your files or your email first, so you keep a copy of your signed medical.
A diver profile in Into the Blue that holds what dive centers ask for at check-in: your certifications, dive insurance, dive medical, gear sizes and number of dives. You fill it in once and share it with any dive center as a single PDF.
One PDF with your name, dive count, highest certification and latest dive, your certifications, the gear you need to rent and in which size, your insurance status and the signed medical form. Your insurance document and doctor’s certificate are attached. Only the sections you filled in are included, and the app shows you the list before you share.
Open your diver profile and tap Share profile. Check the list of what’s inside, tap Share, and pick WhatsApp, email, Messages, AirDrop or any app on your phone. The dive center opens it like any other PDF, without the app.
No. Your medical answers, your signature and your doctor’s certificate are saved only on your phone, in the app’s own storage. They are never uploaded to Into the Blue or anyone else. They leave your phone only inside a PDF you choose to share, and deleting your medical in the app erases it for good.
The Diver Medical | Participant Questionnaire, the form PADI, SSI and other agencies use, word for word, in English and Spanish. If you answer no to every question, your signed form is ready and valid for 12 months. If an answer means a doctor should see you first, download the physician’s form and upload the signed page once you have it.
Yes. When the diver is under 18, the app asks for a parent or guardian to sign the questionnaire on their behalf.
Because it lives only on your phone, it doesn’t travel with your account. Share the PDF to your files or your email to keep a copy, or fill in the questionnaire again on the new phone. Your certifications, insurance, gear and dive count come back when you sign in.
29 of them, including PADI, SSI, CMAS, NAUI, SDI, TDI, BSAC, RAID, GUE and IANTD, and freediving agencies such as AIDA and Molchanovs.
