Common questions

How do I delete my account and all my data?
Open the app and go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm. Once confirmed, your account and all associated dive log data will be permanently erased within 30 days. This action is irreversible.
My dives aren't syncing between devices. What should I do?
  1. Make sure both devices are connected to the internet.
  2. Pull down to refresh on the dive log screen to trigger a manual sync.
  3. Sign out and sign back in on the affected device.
  4. Check that both devices are running the latest version of the app.
If the issue persists, email us at contact@intotheblue.app with your account email and the device models affected.
I didn't receive the confirmation email after signing up.
Check your spam or junk folder first — the email comes from contact@intotheblue.app. If it's not there, go to the verification screen in the app and tap Resend email. Each link is valid for 24 hours. If you still have trouble, contact us and we'll verify your account manually.
Can I export my dive log?
Yes. Go to Profile → Settings → Export Data. You can export all your dives as a JSON file. PDF and CSV export formats are on the roadmap for a future update.
Is Into The Blue free?
Yes, the app is 100% free during the open beta. If we introduce a paid tier after the full launch, existing beta users will receive advance notice and a grace period. We will never charge without warning.
How do I join the iOS beta on TestFlight?
Register your email on our home page. When a TestFlight invite is available, we'll send it directly to the email you provided. Make sure you have the TestFlight app installed on your iPhone or iPad before accepting the invite.
How do I log a dive offline?
Into The Blue is offline-first. Simply open the app and create a new dive entry as normal — no internet connection is required. Your dive will be saved locally and will sync automatically the next time你 connect to a network.
I found a security vulnerability. How should I report it?
Please disclose security issues responsibly by emailing privacy@intotheblue.app with a clear description of the vulnerability. Do not post publicly until we've had a chance to investigate and patch. We genuinely appreciate responsible disclosure.
